Refund Policy

Refunds and billing support for Stripe-processed Acceler8 purchases.

Payments for Acceler8 are processed securely by Stripe. Acceler8 currently offers one-time plans, time-limited access periods, and ad-hoc credit top-ups rather than automatically renewing subscriptions. This policy explains how refund requests, billing disputes, technical access issues, and mandatory consumer rights are handled for Acceler8 purchases.

1. Purchases processed by Stripe

Payments for Acceler8 are processed by Stripe as our payment processor. Acceler8 remains responsible for the sale of the product, account provisioning, product access, customer support, and any decision to approve or decline a discretionary refund, subject to applicable law.

Your payment may appear on statements using our business name or other billing information supplied through Stripe's checkout flow. Questions about a payment should be directed to Acceler8 first at support@acceler8.vc.

2. General refund policy

Unless required by applicable law, Acceler8 purchases are generally non-refundable and non-exchangeable once payment has been successfully processed and the relevant product access, plan time, or credits have been provisioned.

Acceler8 may review refund requests on a discretionary basis in circumstances such as duplicate payment, incorrect billing, failed provisioning, or a material product access issue that we cannot resolve within a reasonable period.

Refunds will not usually be issued where there is evidence of fraud, abuse, repeated refund requests after successful product access, or other manipulative behaviour. If a refund is issued, Acceler8 may remove or reduce the corresponding plan time, credits, or related product access.

3. Statutory withdrawal and mandatory consumer rights

Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory consumer rights that apply in your country, state, or territory of purchase. Where applicable law gives you additional or non-waivable rights, those rights continue to apply.

4. One-time plans and credit top-ups

Acceler8 currently offers one-time plan purchases, time-limited plan extensions, and ad-hoc credit top-ups. These purchases do not automatically renew unless Acceler8 explicitly introduces recurring billing for a future product offering.

Because these purchases are not auto-renewing subscriptions, there is normally nothing to cancel for future billing once a one-time payment has completed. If you believe you were charged incorrectly, or if a purchase was duplicated, please contact Acceler8 promptly.

5. How to request a refund or billing review

To request a refund or billing review, contact Acceler8 at support@acceler8.vc and include enough detail for us to identify the transaction, such as the account email address, approximate payment date, amount, and the reason for your request.

If a refund is approved, Acceler8 will use Stripe to return funds to the original payment method where possible. Timing depends on Stripe, card networks, banks, and payment providers, and can vary by payment method and region.

6. Technical or product access issues

If you experience persistent technical issues with Acceler8, or a material product defect that prevents access to the features or benefits described at purchase, please contact Acceler8 first so we can attempt to resolve the issue.

If the issue cannot be resolved, Acceler8 may review whether a partial or full refund is appropriate, subject to this policy and any mandatory rights that apply.

7. Chargebacks, payment disputes, and tax refunds

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact Acceler8 before raising a card dispute or chargeback so we have an opportunity to investigate and resolve the issue quickly.

If a chargeback or card dispute is raised through your bank or card issuer, Acceler8 will respond through Stripe's dispute process. This policy does not limit any rights you may have through your bank, card issuer, or applicable law.

If you believe a tax amount was applied incorrectly, contact Acceler8 with the transaction details and the basis for the request so we can review it.

8. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your transaction will generally apply to that transaction, subject to any mandatory rights that apply under applicable law.
